For the past three years, I have been working on an independent documentary film about the Crimean Tatars, a Turkic-Muslim ethnic group considered by many academics to be the indigenous population of the Crimean Peninsula.

Now the film is finished!  Called, “A Struggle for Home: The Crimean Tatars,” the documentary tells the little known history of the Crimean Tatar people and the desperate situation they are currently facing in Crimea since the Russian annexation.

And visit the film’s website: http://astruggleforhome.com/

I will be updating the film’s website with screening dates and more information. You can also follow the film on Facebook and Twitter.
