By Christina Paschyn

Abstract: Since the start of the Gulf diplomatic imbroglio in June 2017, international media coverage has varied depending on the news publication’s readership and the national interests of the country in which the outlet is based. This chapter explores how media coverage in the editorial pages of conservative and liberal publications differed, with a specific focus on opinion pieces published digitally by the Telegraph and the Guardian in the United Kingdom and Fox News and CNN in the United States.
