About

My featured video and interview on the rocket fire in Be’er Sheva, Israel, during 2009 Gaza War for CNN iReport.

Below, a video I shot of students running to a bomb shelter during a rocket attack. It aired on CNN segments and was shown in network’s war coverage:

Accompanying text with above video:

My friends (Jacob, Rebah, Adam) and I running to the apartment building’s bomb shelter. You can hear three booms in the video.

This particular Hamas attack left six people injured, including a little boy who suffered serious wounds to his head.

It was a surreal experience. We laughed on our way to the bomb shelter, desensitized to the sirens since we had heard them almost every day during the past two and a half weeks.

I suppose we have to laugh or else we would just break down.

An hour later reality set in, and we learned just how much serious damage the attack had caused.
