
Christina M. Paschyn is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, multimedia journalist, and aspiring novelist. She lives in Doha, Qatar, and is an assistant professor of journalism at Northwestern University in Qatar.
She is the director of the acclaimed documentary “A Struggle for Home: The Crimean Tatars.”
She has reported for top international news outlets, and her writing and video work has been published by The New York Times, Al-Fanar Media, and Euronews, among other outlets.
Christina is also a creative writer. She is currently querying three picture books and revising two young adult novels.
She is of Ukrainian American descent.
In her spare time, Christina enjoys directing and performing in plays and musicals, Ukrainian folk dancing, and extreme sports thrills.
